First All-Africa Scientific Conference

Unfortunately, due to the late “re-beginning” of Fungifest, I have to report that the deadline for abstracts has passed for this conference. However, you can still attend the First All-Africa Scientific Conference, 25-29 October, organized by Makerere University and the Natural Products Research Network for Eastern and Central Africa (NAPRECA-Uganda). The theme is “Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms for Health and Poverty Alleviation in Africa.” The conference location is the Nile Resort Hotel in Jinja, Uganda, and you can read more about the conference in their PDF file or contact Dr. Deo Olila for details at “olilad at vetmed.mak.ac.ug.”
