Laissez les bon ton roulet!

Hey folks - the mushroom, mycelium and fungal news and press releases have slowed to a crawl. I can’t imagine why - I mean, it’s not like there’s snow on the ground (at least in the midwest…).

With that said, I’m headed off to New Orleans to enjoy the upcoming holiday season with my daughter. We’re going to bury ourselves in the French Quarter, eat ourselves silly at some of the greatest restaurants in the country (yes, they’re open), and enjoy some fantastic music (Zydeco, here I come!). We’re going to shiver through a ghost tour, possibly a vampire tour (for my daughter, the half-goth), and we’re going to window shop if not actually spend some serious dough at some of the wildest little retail locations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It will be nice to revisit the Crescent City, a place that is familiar to us, because we want to show our bit of support for those who have tried to revive the core of New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina.
