The Colorado Mycological Society

The Colorado Mycological Society (CMS) is a non-profit corporation established in 1967 to advance the understanding of, and to stimulate interest in, the field of mycology. Meetings are held in Mitchell Hall on the second Monday night of each month, from March through October, at 7:30 PM at the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1005 York Street. There is no charge to get into the Botanic Gardens to attend a CMS meeting. Each meeting features a lecture and/or slide presentation on mycology or on a related subject by nationally known mycologists, outside specialists and knowledgeable members. Visitors & members are encouraged to bring the mushrooms they find to the meetings, where knowledgeable members will be happy to help you identify the mushrooms you have found. And, if you find yourself with cabin-fever over the winter, you can join in on CMS’s new forums. Visit the site for more information. This site is associated with the NAMA.
