27th Annual Telluride Mushroom Festival

Yeah and hallelujah! The Telluride, Colorado Mushroom Festival site is up and running early this year, so set the dates on your calendar for 27-28 August (usually the last full weekend in that month). The usual mushroom celebs will be there - Gary Lincoff, Bill Adams, John Corbin, and chef extraordinaire Rita Rosenberg, among others. The ticket prices seem less expensive this year as well: $80 in advance for both days; $45 for one day (previous two include all lectures and forays); $10 per lecture and $20 per foray otherwise. Well worth the price to hobnob with some of the most experienced mycophiles in the western world.
