Wild Mushroom Festival Gearing UP

The Long Beach Peninsula (Washington) annual Wild Mushroom Festival kicks off on October 15 and runs through the end of the month. As part of the festival, participating restaurants, inns and bed and breakfast establishments will offer daily wild mushroom specials. Wild mushroom workshops, field excursions and prix-fixe dinners will also be offered.
To date, there are four events listed:
- Wild Mushroom Winemaker Dinner on 12 October at The Depot Restaurant in Seaview;
- Unannounced event, 42nd Street Cafe in Seaview on 19 October;
- Wild Mushroom Celebration Event ‘07 will be held at China Beach Retreat in Ilwaco on 23 October;
- Willapa Wild Mushroom Winemaker’s Dinner at The Shoalwater Restaurant in Seaview on 26 October.
