Can’t Say I’m Not Determined

Over the years, this mushroom site has given me great joy. I’ve met so many folks, and I’ve had a lot of fun. But, the technical end of this endeavor gives me fits. Every year it’s something new. Either the database becomes corrupted or the server goes down and erases that corrupt database. Or, a widget becomes outdated, and the creator decides to drop the project. This means that all the posts associated with that widget are subject to be corrupt. Finally, updates to technology also provide some interesting glitches.

With all that said, other tools become available that are impossible to resist. Such is the Google Calendar. I’m creating a new calendar that I’ve been able to attach to the site (you can also use the link at top right under the search bar). So, at a glance, you can see if your event overrides another event or if you need to attend two events on one day as a split personality.

I hope that - as a mushroom event planner - you will keep me up-to-date on your upcoming events. And, as mushroom event attendees, I’d like to hear from you if you attended the event. Although my personality goes in six directions at once, it often misses most of these mycological affairs. Thanks!
